The Chinese government website launched the 2020 “Share your ideas with China’s Premier” initiative on Dec 10, in cooperation with 25 online platforms, including Xinhua and People's Daily, as well as the websites of local governments and related departments.

This event is aimed at soliciting suggestions from netizens on government work, which will continue through the 2020 two sessions.

The initiative covers 12 topics, such as China's business environment, economy and trade, poverty alleviation, and innovation and digitalization. Internet users can leave a message on the website, english.www.gov.cn, or on its app and other partnership platforms. Some of the messages will be submitted to the draft team of the Government Work Report.

This is the sixth consecutive year of the event. In 2019, more than 90 percent of the suggestions submitted to the draft team were covered in the Government Work Report.
