Update information on the novel coronavirus in Hubei on Jan 29, 2020

1,032 cases of novel coronavirus were newly confirmed in Hubei on Jan 29, 356 in Wuhan, 27 in Huangshi, 31 in Shiyan, 32 in Xiangyang, 54 in Yichang, 50 in Jingzhou, 49 in Jingmen, 39 in Ezhou, 125 in Xiaogan, 172 in Huanggang, 18 in Xianning, 27 in Suizhou, 15 in Enshi, 23 in Xiantao, 10 in Tianmen, 2 in Qianjiang and 2 in Shennongjia. Wednesday saw 37 deaths, 25 in Wuhan, 1 in Jingzhou, 1 in Ezhou, 3 in Xiaogan, and 7 in Huanggang. 10 people were discharged from hospital after recovery, 7 in Wuhan and 3 in Huanggang.

By the end of Jan 29, a total of 4,586 cumulative confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus had been reported in Hubei province, 2,261 in Wuhan, 113 in Huangshi, 119 in Shiyan, 163 in Xiangyang, 117 in Yichang, 151 in Jingzhou, 191 in Jingmen, 123 in Ezhou, 399 in Xiaogan, 496 in Huanggang, 130 in Xianning, 143 in Suizhou, 66 in Enshi, 55 in Xiantao, 44 in Tianmen, 10 in Qianjiang and 5 in Shennongjia. A total of 90 people were cured and discharged from hospital and 162 people died of the disease, 129 in Wuhan, 1 in Huangshi, 1 in Yichang, 3 in Jingzhou, 4 in Jingmen, 2 in Ezhou, 6 in Xiaogan, 12 in Huanggang, 3 in Tianmen and 1 in Qianjiang. Currently 4,334 people remain hospitalized, with 711 in serious condition and 277 in critical condition. They are receiving separated treatment in designated medical institutions. Of the traced 28,780 close contacts, 26,632 are still under medical quarantine.

On Jan 28, a total of 32,309 people received outpatient services in the province, with 4,095 hospitalized for medical quarantine. 12,263 people in Wuhan received outpatient services and 741 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,304 people in Huangshi received outpatient services and 150 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,710 people in Shiyan received outpatient services and 315 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,937 people in Xiangyang received outpatient services and 223 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,102 people in Yichang received outpatient services and 164 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,779 people in Jingzhou received outpatient services and 288 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 822 people in Jingmen received outpatient services and 133 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 528 people in Ezhou received outpatient services and 150 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 2,847 people in Xiaogan received outpatient services and 568 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 2,527 people in Huanggang received outpatient services and 365 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,360 people in Xianning received outpatient services and 118 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 545 people in Suizhou received outpatient services and 253 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 1,541 people in Enshi received outpatient services and 156 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 805 people in Xiantao received outpatient services and 289 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 672 people in Tianmen received outpatient services and 107 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 528 people in Qianjiang received outpatient services and 73 were hospitalized for medical quarantine. 39 in Shennongjia received outpatient services and 2 were hospitalized for medical quarantine.
