China's Wuhan reports zero increase in COVID-19 cases

WUHAN — No new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported on March 25 in Wuhan, the former hardest-hit city in Central China's Hubei province.

The health commission of Hubei, of which Wuhan is the capital, said on March 26 the province also registered zero increase in new COVID-19 cases on March 25.

Hubei saw six new deaths, five of which were in Wuhan, bringing the total in the province to 3,169.

The province also saw 391 patients discharged from hospital after recovery on March 25. Among the 3,431 patients being treated in hospital, 914 were still in severe condition and another 287 in critical condition, according to the commission.

No new suspected cases were reported in Hubei on March 25.

Hubei has so far reported a total of 67,801 COVID-19 confirmed cases, including 50,006 in Wuhan.
