BEIJING — The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on March 27.

Li Yi was appointed vice-president of the National Academy of Governance, replacing Wang Dongjing.

Yan Zhichan was appointed deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Li Fanrong was removed from the post of deputy director of the National Energy Administration.
