BEIJING — Here are the latest developments on the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China:
— Chinese health authority received reports of 89 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on April 13, of which 86 were imported.
Three new domestically transmitted cases were reported, all in Guangdong province, the National Health Commission said.
Three new suspected cases, all imported ones, were reported on April 13 on the mainland, with two in Shanghai and one in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
— China's Hubei province reported no new confirmed COVID-19 cases and no new deaths on April 13.
The province had 610 asymptomatic cases under medical observation by April 13, including 22 such cases that were reported on April 13.
— Northeast China's Heilongjiang province bordering Russia reported 79 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on April 13.
All of them were Chinese nationals returning from Russia. Of them, 65 were previously asymptomatic cases.
