BEIJING — Here are the latest developments on the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in China:
— Chinese health authority said on April 30 that it received reports of four new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on April 29, all of which were imported cases.
Three suspected cases were reported in Shanghai, all of which were also imported, the National Health Commission said in a daily report.
No deaths were reported on April 28 on the mainland, according to the commission.
— The National Museum of China will reopen from May 1, the first day of a five-day public holiday. Visitors need to make reservations online, and the daily number of visitors is limited to 3,000.
— Chinese authorities on April 30 urged people in the country to remain vigilant about COVID-19 while traveling during holiday.
— No asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 in the hard-hit Wuhan turned into confirmed cases in the three weeks after the city lifted its 76-day lockdown.
