BEIJING — The All-China Women's Federation on May 15 announced a list of 660 families in recognition of their outstanding contributions to China's fight against COVID-19.
The list not only covers the families of frontline medical staff and police officers, but also includes the families of those who devoted themselves to community epidemic prevention and control, voluntary service and scientific research during the epidemic.
For example, Wang Jiantao's family in the southwestern Chongqing municipality was honored for three generations' voluntary participation in community epidemic prevention and control.
Since 2014, more than 3.8 million Chinese families have been honored for their filial piety, scientific education of children, environmental protection and other reasons.
