WUHAN — No new confirmed COVID-19 cases or suspected cases were reported in Central China's Hubei province on June 6, the provincial health commission said on June 7.

The province saw no new asymptomatic cases on June 6, while 23 such cases were released from quarantine. There were still 154 asymptomatic cases under medical observation on June 6.

Hubei had reported 68,135 confirmed COVID-19 cases in total, and 63,623 cases in the province had been cured and discharged from hospital by June 6.

A total of 4,512 people had died of the disease in Hubei by June 6.
