GUANGZHOU — Intellectual property worth about 1.87 billion yuan (about $285 million) was traded at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade Expo 2020 in South China's Guangdong province, organizers said on Nov 21.
Trade in patent and trademark reached 1.72 billion yuan, an increase of 15.97 percent from last year, while trade in copyright amounted to 144 million yuan, involving 2,323 copyrights at the expo.
A total of 2,469 organizations participated in the expo online, eight times that of last year's offline event.
The 7-day expo opened on Nov 13 in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong.
