BEIJING — China's State Council announced the appointment and removal of officials on April 8. 

Luo Zhaohui was named head of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, replacing Wang Xiaotao. Luo was removed from the post of vice-foreign minister.

Li Qun was appointed head of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, replacing Liu Yuzhu.

Also, Chen Xiaojun was appointed deputy head of the China Earthquake Administration. And Ding Xiangyang was removed from the post of deputy secretary-general of the State Council.
