Ma Feixiong was named vice-minister of veterans affairs.

Jiang Hui was named vice-president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Huang Luqi was appointed deputy head of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Wu Jianli was appointed vice-chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund.

Zhang Guangjun will continue to hold the post as president of the Southeast University.

Zhang Xiangchen no longer serves as vice-minister of commerce.
