Cui Maohu was appointed director of the National Religious Affairs Administration, replacing Wang Zuo'an.

Fu Hua replaced He Ping as president of Xinhua News Agency and is no longer editor-in-chief of the agency.

Lyu Yansong was appointed editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency.

Wang Shuxin was appointed president of Chongqing University.

Li Xiaochao was removed from the post of deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, and Liang Yan will no longer serve as deputy director of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration.
