Eighty-eight policy innovations promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta have been launched since 2020, and 15 of them were published this year, said an official of the Yangtze River Delta demonstration zone on Aug 9.
Zhang Zhongwei, deputy director of the executive committee of the Yangtze River Delta demonstration zone, told local media on Aug 9 that the mission for the zone is to become an "experimental field" where unified rules and regulations are implemented to promote mobility of different economic elements.
The new policies include a cross-provincial data sharing mechanism, a new financing platform, and a detailed spatial development plan for the core areas of the zone.
Zhang said 38 innovative policies have been set as model practices and introduced to other parts of the country, including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, to enhance regional integrated development.
About 100 key development projects, such as lakeside ecological restoration and inter-city rail lines, have been completed or are under construction in the zone, Zhang added.
