BEIJING, March 10 -- The following are the schedules for the first session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the first session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Saturday:

-- Deputies to the NPC session will hold their fourth plenary meeting to decide on candidates for premier, as well as vice chairpersons and members of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China. They will also elect director of the National Commission of Supervision, president of the Supreme People's Court, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and members of the 14th NPC Standing Committee.

-- Delegations to the NPC session will hold meetings to deliberate on candidates for vice premiers, state councilors, ministers, ministers in charge of various commissions, central bank governor, auditor-general, and secretary-general of the State Council, as well as leaders and members of eight special committees of the NPC.

-- The first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee will hold its closing meeting at 3 p.m.
