At the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition in Malaysia, 65 ships and 110 planes from 63 countries are on display.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak opened the five-day exhibition on March 17 with a ceremony flyover by the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

Also flying high at the opening was the Bayi aerobatic team of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force. It was the team’s second performance in the international arena, following its debut at the Moscow airshow in 2013.

Seven pilots took their J-10 fighter jets through more than 20 types of maneuvers.

On the pilots’ team were four women who took part in the military parade marking the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. The Bayi team was received by Najib after the performance.

LIMA was first held in 1991. It is now one of the most influential exhibitions in Southeast Asia.
