Construction of Wenchang International Aerospace City is underway in South China's Hainan province. The park is home to the Wenchang Space Launch Site, the only coastal site of its kind in China and from where the Long March 5 rocket blasted off on July 23, 2020, carrying China's Tianwen-1 Mars probe.
