Designed and built by Chinese company Oil Engineering Co Ltd, components for the world's largest truss semi-submersible platform are finished in loading in North China's Tianjin. The components consist of 23 deck pieces with nearly 200 sets of key oil and gas processing equipment, and a house that can accommodate 120 people was also on the deck. The components weigh nearly 20,000 metric tons and have a total cable length of 430,000 meters. These are part of the underwater production system of the Lingshui 17-2 gas field project, China's first 1500-meter deepwater gas field.
