China's economy maintained stable recovery in 2020 in face of the severe challenges at home and abroad created by the COVID-19 pandemic, with people's well-being effectively guaranteed and better-than-expected accomplishments for major targets of economic and social development.
Major economic indicators, such as value-added industrial output, fixed-asset investment, foreign trade, foreign direct investment, per capita disposable income, new yuan loans and power use in China have all witnessed certain growth last year.
