Workers at Baihetan Hydropower Station in southwestern China, the second largest in the world, started to dismantle its cable crane group, the world's largest, which set two world records during its five-year mission on April 25. One record is the longest safe operation hours among the machinery of its kind and the other the volume of concrete it lifted. This world's largest cable crane group is consisted of seven cable cranes and safely ran 229,800 hours starting from March 2017. It lifted a total volume of 8.279 million cubic meters of concrete during the run.
