China's Chongqing municipality, the operational hub of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, has seen off its 10,000th China-Europe freight train, becoming the first Chinese city to reach that milestone on June 23. The cargo freight on these routes cover thousands of categories, with the total value exceeding 400 billion yuan (about $60 billion). To date, Chongqing has opened approximately 40 routes that reach nearly 100 Asian and European cities via 59 railway stations and 29 ports in China.
