As Asia's first offshore wind power project using flexible DC transmission technology, the cumulative power generation capacity of the Rudong offshore wind farm in China's Jiangsu province exceeds 1 billion kWh. It's designed to have the transmission capacity of 1,100 megawatts, and is currently the world's largest capacity offshore converter station.
