The arch for supporting a 504-meter section of the Wujiang grand bridge was completed on Aug 15. With a total length of 1,834 meters and a main span of 504 meters, the bridge is currently the world's largest concrete-filled steel tube deck arch bridge. All sections of the arch were transported from Chongqing municipality through the Yangtze and the Wujiang rivers.
