BEIJING — At the ongoing China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), an environmental services section is held for the first time since the fair was launched in 2012.
Covering an area of 16,700 square meters, this section focuses on low-carbon energy, the climate and carbon economy, and carbon neutrality and green technology.
Companies participating in this section display their latest products and technological applications, advocating a low-carbon lifestyle.
The new section was set up against the background of the country's "dual carbon" goals. China has announced that it will strive for peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
