Authorities announced Friday that five new Comprehensive Bonded Zones in China have been approved, including the Wuzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Zhuhai Gaolan Port Comprehensive Free Trade Zone and the Zhanjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone in south China's Guangdong Province, the Huangshi Qipanzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone in central China's Hubei Province, and the Kaifeng Comprehensive Bonded Zone in central China's Henan Province. Comprehensive Bonded Zones are special commercial areas that enjoy favorable taxation policies and are managed by customs authorities.
