Feb 18 marks the fourth anniversary of the release of the outline development plan for China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Highlighting "innovation" in the plan, the GBA has become one of world's most important innovation centers.
So far, a total of 51 unicorn companies (startups valued at more than one billion U.S. dollars) have settled down in the GBA, accounting for one-twentieth of the world's total. The seaports in the GBA ranked first in terms of cargo throughput in the world's bay areas.
