The General Office of the State Council, in a circular issued on Sept 18, decided to adjust the members of the coordination group for government function transformation and administrative reform.

According to the circular, Vice-Premier Han Zheng will be head of the group, and State Councilor Wang Yong, and State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council Xiao Jie will serve as the deputy heads. Xiao will also be the office director.

Members of several sub-groups will be adjusted, involving administration streamlining, business environment optimization, entrepreneurship and innovation, reform of the business system, and social services.
