The State Council will cancel requirement for government review on 29 items and delegate power on four items, according to a circular released on Sept 21.

Local government at all levels and related departments should channel great efforts to implement the cancellation and delegation, work on further detailed support measures for the reform, and exercise stronger oversight both during and after the reform while being innovative, the circular said.

Detailed regulations will be unveiled to the public in 20 workdays after the circular is released.
