A newspaper in Myanmar published an article written by Premier Li Keqiang, ahead of his participation in a series of leaders’ meetings on East Asia cooperation held in the country - and his official visit.

Li wrote that he remembers his visit to Myanmar 28 years ago, when he felt a deep friendship between the people of Myanmar and China. He also suggested that China and Myanmar should continue to be good neighbors, good friends, good partners and good brothers, who stay together to cope with challenges, cooperate in a win-win manner and understand and trust each other.
