BEIJING -- Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain continued his visit to China on Feb 20, holding talks with Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing.

The talks are part of Pakistan’s drive to build an economic corridor through rugged mountains and regions torn apart by insurgent violence. China and Pakistan signed agreements on Wednesday to build a new airport and upgrade the high-altitude Karakorum Highway that links the two countries.

President Xi Jinping and Mamnoon Hussain have pledged to forge a China-Pakistan “community of shared destiny”.
