Premier Li Keqiang inspected the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering at Sichuan University in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on April 25. The laboratory ranks first in terms of number of papers published in the Science Citation Index.

The Premier visited the laboratory and saw its independent research and development results, which includes the world’s first graphene rubber tires, first domestic hemodialyzer and the new technology of complete sets of lithium battery diaphragm.

Premier Li encouraged scientific researchers to accelerate the transformation of technological achievements.
