Premier Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory letter on Nov 23 to the opening ceremony of the German chemical giant BASF's smart Verbund project in the city of Zhanjiang, South China's Guangdong province.
The BASF (Guangdong) Verbund project is China's first foreign-funded integrated petrochemical project, which marks how China's further opening-up measures are being implemented, Premier Li said in the letter. This will promote Sino-German cooperation in manufacturing to a new level, he said.
The Chinese government is dedicated to expanding opening-up, and the door to the outside will open wider, the Premier said.
China will accelerate the construction of a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment, and give equal treatment to domestic and foreign-funded enterprises as well as enterprises of different ownerships, said the Premier.
He expressed hopes that enterprises from all over the world could grasp the opportunity brought by China's opening-up, and expand cooperation with China to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
