Premier Li Keqiang visited the national service platform for the development of market operation and circulation on March 13.
When hearing a report on the promotion of preferential policies for enterprises, Premier Li noticed a large number of enterprises failed to take advantage of these policies because they have not applied or resumed work and production.
The policies, aimed at easing difficulties encountered by enterprises, include phased tax cuts, postponed payments, deduction and waiver of social insurance fees, as well as discounts in utilities fees.
The policies are inclusive and should cover all enterprises in operation, Premier Li stressed.
Local authorities and related departments should bear in mind both epidemic prevention and social and economic development, put preferential policies in place and help enterprises, especially medium, small and micro businesses, overcome difficulties, he said.
