Efforts should be made to maintain steady economic recovery and offer effective and sustainable policy support to achieve positive growth for the whole year and lay a solid foundation for future development.
The remarks came from Premier Li Keqiang, who visited Sanquan Foods in Zhengzhou on Nov 4 as part of his inspection tour to Central China's Henan province. The company has helped create jobs for more than 25,000 people.
The Premier inquired about the implementation of national policies designed to help businesses cushion the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic in a talk with managers of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises in Sanquan’s downstream and upstream.
The respondents said that timely and robust measures, such as tax and fee cuts, and inclusive financial services, have greatly helped them get through the difficult time.
The spirit to hold on and march ahead in spite of great obstacles is exactly the manifestation of entrepreneurship, Premier Li said.
Before leaving, the Premier encouraged staff members to make first-class food that are safe, high-quality and delicious.
