Premier Li Keqiang, on March 6, had a joint panel discussion attended by national political advisers from the economic sector, for the fourth session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
At the meeting, Premier Li stressed stability and safety of industrial and supply chains while promoting the opening-up strategy.
China should stay a stickler to independent innovation with safe and stable industrial and supply chains upheld, he said, and constantly step up opening-up.
In terms of China's transition from a well-off society in an all-around way into socialist modernization course, international and domestic markets and resources should both play big roles, the Premier said.
China should beef up cooperation and exchanges with foreign counterparts during the course of opening-up, help enterprises learn more about international market demands, advanced technologies, and management experience, and constantly elevate enterprises' abilities to develop, Premier Li said.
