BEIJING — Vice-Premier Han Zheng met with ExxonMobil Chairman and CEO Darren Woods in Beijing on Dec 3, said an official release issued on Dec 4.
Han, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said China is a firm supporter of economic globalization, and transnational corporations are powerful promoters of economic globalization.
Han said China's economy enjoys great development potentials with strong resilience, which will offer more market and investment opportunities for foreign companies.
He said China will continue to facilitate foreign investment in the country, and welcomes ExxonMobil to expand its investment and start the construction of its chemical complex in Huizhou, Guangdong province, at an early date.
