SHANGHAI — Vice-Premier Hu Chunhua called for all-out efforts to finish final preparations for the second China International Import Expo (CIIE).
As the preparations have entered a key and final stage, all related departments should make solid efforts to secure all related activities and improve the planning of state and enterprise exhibitions, said Hu, also head of the organizing committee of the expo, during an inspection to the expo venue in Shanghai on Sept 12.
He stressed the importance of enhancing the urban serving capacity and of strengthening coordination and organization.
While inspecting the new Lingang area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Hu emphasized that Shanghai should seize the opportunity to make new progress in advancing high-level opening-up and explore new approaches to deepening opening-up and reform for the whole country.
The second CIIE will be held in Shanghai on Nov 5-10.
