Vice-Premier Liu He, head of the Chinese side of the China–EU high-level economic and trade dialogue, had a phone call with President of the European Commission Jyrki Kataine, who is head of the EU side of the dialogue, and his successor, Valdis Dombrovskis, on Nov 18.

The two sides had a constructive discussion over issues of common concern.
