BEIJING — China’s Ministry of Public Security has launched a campaign to crack down on food, drug and environment crimes with other relevant departments.
The ministry asked related authorities to make the utmost efforts to break up criminal dens and chains, strictly punish criminals according to laws and resolutely curb crimes in areas of food, drug, environment and intellectual property rights.
It also required efforts to improve the investigations into criminal cases by using more information and intelligent technologies, as well as perform duties according to laws and regulations and protect people’s legitimate rights and interests.
