BEIJING — The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on Aug 1 launched an online platform that integrates online services provided by police authorities at various levels across China.
A total of 548 kinds of services are now available on the platform, according to a statement issued at a press conference held by the ministry.
Li Jian, head of the MPS's technology and information department, said the platform is also connected to a national online service platform to save the users the trouble of having to register or conduct verification multiple times across different platforms.
According to the MPS, the platform has updated over 828,000 pieces of frequently accessed police information such as driving licence tests and traffic violations.
