BEIJING — China will promote deeply integrated development of the manufacturing industry and modern service industry by nurturing 10 new business models, the country's top economic planner said on Nov 15.
By 2025, the integration of the two sectors will offer critical support for high-quality growth of the manufacturing industry, according to a guideline released by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and other 14 departments.
The guideline introduced a total of 10 typical business models with huge potential and promising outlooks, including construction of intelligent factories, innovative application of the industrial internet and optimization of supply chain management.
Developing service derivatives manufacturing as well as industrial and cultural tourism were also listed in the guideline.
By 2025, a new batch of deeply integrated enterprises, platforms and demonstration areas with innovative dynamics and high quality will be built, according to the guideline.
The NDRC and relevant departments shall further introduce supporting policies and rules to accelerate the implementation of the guideline, said Meng Wei, spokesperson for the NDRC.
