BEIJING — China will launch inspections of the novel coronavirus prevention and control measures implemented by education authorities and on campus, according to a recent circular issued by an education supervising office under the Ministry of Education (MOE).
The inspections, which target local education authorities, schools, kindergartens and MOE-affiliated universities, will mainly check how education authorities organize their epidemic control work, how prevention and control measures are implemented and how teaching work is conducted amid the virus outbreak, said the circular.
Prevention measures at campus entrances, body temperature monitoring measures, quarantine measures and bans on offline teaching and training will be inspected, according to the circular.
An online tip-off channel has also been opened to identify more problems, it said.
