BEIJING — Traffic management authorities across China are asked to resume window services of traffic management in an orderly manner amid epidemic prevention and control efforts, according to the traffic management bureau under the Ministry of Public Security.
The move aims to meet people's travel needs and facilitate enterprises to resume work and production, said a guideline issued by the bureau on Feb 24.
Traffic management authorities should resume face-to-face window services in an orderly manner in accordance with local epidemic situations, said the guideline, adding that priorities should be give to window services that help ensure the resumption of work and production.
Local traffic management departments are asked to strictly carry out epidemic prevention measures in business halls and service windows, as well as to advise people to make appointments for window services to avoid overcrowding.
The bureau advised drivers to handle traffic management business online as much as possible to minimize the risk of cross-infection.
