BEIJING — A Chinese health official on Feb 27 urged strengthening cooperation with relevant international organizations and countries to jointly contain the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the World Health Organization, the COVID-19 outbreak has occurred in some countries, some of which see a rapid increase in the number of cases, said Mi Feng, a spokesperson for the National Health Commission, stressing efforts to prevent both people outflows and inflows.
