BEIJING — The Chinese mainland reported nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Feb 27 outside Hubei province, epicenter of the outbreak, according to the National Health Commission.

The commission said on Feb 28 it received reports of 327 new confirmed cases on Feb 27 from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, including 318 from Hubei.
