BEIJING — Chinese health authority is considering post-epidemic arrangement plans for medical facilities that are being used to fight against the COVID-19 in epicenter Hubei province, Mao Qun'an, an official with the National Health Commission, said on March 4.
Medical equipment and facilities from government procurement, requisition and donations from society are now applied in treatment and cure in designated medical institutions of Wuhan and Hubei province, Mao said at a press conference in Beijing.
The commission, with joint efforts of the National Development and Reform Commission and local administration of Hubei, will strengthen post-epidemic management and allocation of medical facilities to avoid waste, Mao said, adding that the commission will also take the chance to improve the medical equipment of all hospitals and primary-level medical institutions in Hubei.
