BEIJING — A total of 1,430 patients of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were discharged from hospital on March 13 on the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said on March 14.

In total, 65,541 patients had been discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of March 13, the commission said in its daily report.

As of March 13, a total of 80,824 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 had been reported on the mainland, and 3,189 people had died of the disease.
