BEIJING — China's central bank will issue two ordinary commemorative coins, two commemorative banknotes, and 19 gold and silver commemorative coins for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
The People's Bank of China has signed an agreement with the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to issue commemorative coins for the 24th Winter Olympics, starting from this year, the central bank said on March 25.
The coins will show the vitality and passion of winter sports, the nature and culture of the host city and the history and development of China's ice and snow sports with exquisite designs, superb casting skills and outstanding cultural details, the central bank said.
