BEIJING — China's Ministry of Veteran Affairs on April 16 launched in Beijing a new facility for veteran information management and martyr memorial services.
The veteran affair arm of the facility will be tasked with the collection and management of veteran-related information, while the martyr memorial service arm will be charged with designing martyr memorial facilities and the collection and archiving of martyrs' heroic deeds and legacies, among other affairs.
The launch of the new facility will help strengthen the commemoration work for martyrs and improve the management of veteran affairs and the services for veterans, said the ministry.
