BEIJING — Two COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland on June 12, the National Health Commission said on June 13.

There were 74 patients still being treated, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 78,367 patients had been cured and discharged from hospitals by June 12, the report said.

As of June 12, 83,075 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, including 4,634 who had died of the disease.
