BEIJING — One COVID-19 patient was discharged from hospital after recovery on the Chinese mainland on June 14, the National Health Commission said on June 15.

There were 177 patients still being treated, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 78,370 patients had been cured and discharged from hospitals by June 14, the report said.

As of June 14, a total of 83,181 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, and 4,634 people had died of the disease.
